For many years Arriva Midlands and Trentbarton have operated the X38 service between Burton & Derby together with a joint timetable. During 2025 this has all changed with Arriva registering the Trentbarton journeys for themselves. Trentbarton have responded by registering extra journeys to offer a service every 15minutes.
